Yeah, they all "redeem" themselves one way or another, but idk, maybe it's because I'm a boring adult already, but I used to fawn over them being all forceful like that, with their "I love you so much I can't control myself from hurting you" and now it's like "No, sorry, one strike and you're out, forgiveness is not a choice" lol.
