Thanks for reply. I was curious what you would think. Yep, Amou keeping it secret is telling and worrying. He must know Misumi so well. And Misumi has always been very yakuza. When Yashiro ticks him off at the casino, he goes all possessive, and then in the car he says quite clearly he wants Yashiro back. Full dot. But on the other hand he´s always been lenient to Yashiro in the end. He keeps switching from parental to possessive and at this moment he is the most troubling character there is. Heh. It worries me :) I kind of like him, and he was hell of a sexy when he went berserk on Yashiro in the casino, but- 2 minutes later he was pissed but kind of ok with Yashiro laughing and nothing happening. So.. Heh. Sorry..

I guess I don't want Misumi to lose face, in front of himself as well as me. I don't want him to go ugly, but he needs to stand the ground. Regarding storytelling I think one way to do that would be bringing in some stuff from the past in his way( that is the last part of the story I am confused about, there were some women, children, in connection to his killed lover) might turn up more important to him than Yashiro (he would not be ashamed letting Yashiro go for that person) so he would let go of him..

I like Misumi too. I don't think he's the type to lose his head over stupid stuff, but we'll see. He has a genuine soft spot in his heart for Yashiro, but it's not romantic. He just finds him sexually attractive... like almost everyone else. And yeah, he's a little possessive about it, but he seems to temper it well.
D has had to go through this transformation in his psyche to connect with Y. There's no other way. It's not that D needs to catch up to Y. Rather, he needs to surpass him so Y can fully rely on him. Remember Y has had a very traumatic past and the walls around his heart are iron clad and his respect for himself are non existent. He also doesn't really have much respect for anything or anyone. D will probably have to dominate him initially a bit so he comes around. To earn Ys respect and let him open his heart. Don't worry folks, By the time they get together we are all going to be old and wrinkly. Not that there's anything won't with that. Patience is virtue.
