There's no reason to forgive him. He ignored his wife, allowed the servants to neglect her, allowed assassins into the house that could kill her, never protected her from her father for his own political gain, took away her child, told her child that she killed his mother and even upon her death he never once apologized or showed any remorse.
Only after being similarly punished does he show remorse and it's in the form of a pity party for himself.
Ah well, they'll divorce eventually anyway I think.
Fr he should've at least told the servants to take good care of her and treat her properly but instead he just let them step all over her he didn't even try to improve her situation not even a lil bit. I'm hoping that they won't end up with each other even tho it's pretty obv he's the ml.
