They're in college already, so they're all legal adults. In college no one fucking cares the shit you've done or whatever you looked like as a kid. Anyone can be fat as a child and then lose weight, that's nothing to mock someone about.
Literally, the fact that they’re so invested on the most trivial thing ever is honestly pretty aggravating and a poor representation of teenagers/ adults. But the again this is just a manga so I can’t have that high of expectations lol
