all i can see is that the knight went "pretty lady powerless, must protect" while his involvement WILL just get in the way of helena assimilating in the palace....all those muscles and titles and none of the capture target has brains!! all they care about is just to make themselves seems most dutiful to her but they dont even bother getting to know her all the while. ur comment is on point
So that's why she wants to be friends with Eris. She sees herself in the other woman and understand how it feels to shoulder expectations and be rejected when all you want is to accepted.
I don't really care either way, but I can understand a bit Helena's view of things. She is reaching out to the only other person that could see her and knows her suffering. I was right in my assement that none of the og love interest ever really knew Helena as a person, let alone Eris. That knight swore loyalty to a woman he's never seen the true face of, that's why she tried to reject it. It was burdensome to her. SMH
