He's not insecure about the the wealth and title. It's that he won't be enough for her. Since he didn't get the title he thought being a wealthy man would make him deserving of her.

I get that he has insecurity about his wealth and status but dude she’s offed herself twice and the signs have been there he claims to love her but doesn’t give her the time of day like come on!!!! And when u landed in her body and there was a gun u should have put 2 and 2 together.
