I don't think it would be respectfull, it was his friend not just some shadow you want to own because it's powerfull and usefull.

Jinwoo has said before that for him it some how it feels wrong to extract human souls. He's only done it 3 times. One time was a healer to save someone and then immediately let the shadow go. The other two were people he hated and felt as if they had something to make up to him. The dead can not correct their mistakes, so he summoned their shadows to essentially pay off that debt.
