Not in Japan it isn't. In fact, if you're transgender in Japan and want to have your gender legally changed, you have to be diagnosed with GID and submit to sterilization. We are infinitely blessed to live in a liberal, Western country where homosexuality isn't just tolerated or viewed as a perversion or fetish. Our blessings don't extend to other parts of the world.
