maybe i forgot since its been a while i finished the novel but all i rmb is rose becoming infertile because of patrizia. before rosemond sidestory where the main story of patrizia and lucio came to a close, im p sure that there were no mentions of her being pregnant either // i rmb also near to the ending that patrizia became scared that lucio would leave her and hurt her again because she cant bear a child for him.

I read the entire novel and I’m pretty sure she is infertile. He just accepts it and loves her anyway. There were no children between them IIRC.
