It's normal that kids go either with the father or the mother. She wants to start her life over, the husband understood that and decided to care for the child. Where is the problem? I understand not seeing her child at all is wrong and I don't know how it works in Asia but normally you see your kid once or twice a week. Whether the custody is with the mother or the father.
