honestly! really anxious to see how the story will progress after this ;; i really did like the emperor but i can't stomach the idea of him pursuing paulina while having three concubines and a baby on the way. but from what i'm hearing, there's no second male lead hottie that will be better than the emperor so i don't know what to think. at this point, i'd rather paulina end up alone... ╥﹏╥

waiting for a second lead because as much as i rooted for the emperor, i just can't now. he can settle and work with his concubines and political affairs and paulina can settle with a different male lead or her own bombass self. it looks like the emperor just can't and won't fight for her anymore - like, he's resigned to the idea of her never loving him back, and paulina's just too dense. unless he gains the courage to fight for her love harder, i hope he doesn't try and manage paulina's hypothetical future love life cuz that's like really toxic.
