yeah, I agree too, it would have been better and easier. plus her son is cute as a child. But at the same time that what makes this story so compelling since she didn't get to go too far back, she has to work hard to prove her sincerity and work through the trauma she put her son through. like story-wise, it makes more sense for her son to be older.
