Let's clarify one thing. The maid cannot do much. Yes you want her to to do this or to protect the Queen but she's is just a maid in their eyes. The emperor can snap his fingers if he doesn't like her and they'll kill her they can't refuse or they'll be killed too. Honestly she does little things that help a little but she has no power.
