I would say it is maybe set in the 19th century according to the fashion and the fact that the train is beginning to develop. Not saying that it is entirely historically accurate, just that from some things I picked up, it seems to be set during that time. Anyway, yes rumors are still a big thing at that time lol
It's not good to be talked abt as it can damage someone reputation . The settings is in medieval? (I don't know era) so there's will be rumors & other nobles will heard & gossip abt it. It's not good for Luca & the ML reputation . As for her it can affect her mentally but she the kind that high spirited so she probably will be fine.
