maybe you don’t mind it, but many other people did. the term “illegal aliens” shouldn’t have been used at all for it is a very offensive term. if they wanted to address the illegal readers, they should of used “illegal readers” instead because now that they used “illegal aliens” it paints them as racist which is why people aren’t giving them any mercy in this situation

Okay, so let's break it down, mainly the offensive part is "Aliens" meaning that its strange, that it doesn't belong there, and basically that its a different species, its basically ALIENATING (no pun intended) a group of people, making them seem less human in a sense, i dont know if this is getting across right.

yes the term “illegal aliens” is a very racist terms which means “someone who entered a country unlawfully” for example this term was used a lot towards latinos who were trying to enter the US for a better life. and for the link, someone just sent it above so thank you to whoever sent it. im just saying that bc of the author’s choice of words, they are now painted as racist like damn bruh

Let me repeat, the world Illegal aliens is a crude word that is degrading. Why out of all the terms she used, why would she chose that? Isn't there an unharmful alternative? And why is she assuming that the people who stole her works are illegal immigrants?

I honestly had no idea that there’s something like this because I’m not from america that’s why I had no idea that there’s a thing like this. The girl is basically saying that she purchase the chapters legally at lezhin and translates it to spanish for the spanish readers since there is no spanish translations illegally.

The tiktok itself is gone as well as the social media accounts of the girl is gone as well.

Ithe way that the third party were trolling her and other authors (who joined in) was unbelievable. The H scanlation group wasn't the one harrassing YD and they actually told their fan to shut up and leave YD alone after she mention their FB post. They, along other translator groups have locked their fan pages. There seems to be a third party that keep harrassing YD and snitching on the translators to make the situation worse for unknown reason. Both YD supporters in Vietnam and the fans of the scanlation groups are doing their best to track down and report the harrassers


Either that or this shit show is cause by people who hold grudges against the translator teams and want them to get sued

What she said was the way to trigger people to hate on author ? Plus I saw a tweet where that person had translated 19 chapters into 8 different languages and told the author to upload new chapter fast so they can translate it and put it on illegal websites. Honestly if I was the author I don’t know what I would had done. After reading all the tweets and seeing things from both prospectives and seeing many Latinos supporting author, I can finally understand what’s going on and that’s honestly disturbing.

I symphatize for the author i truly do. I want to just point out things that can be changed. Lezhin apologized already, which means they admitted they did wrong with how they handle the situation. And nobody told you that if you don’t have money don’t read it, if you don’t understand the language, don’t read it illegally’ is offensive. We are just POINTING out that her choice of words in the specific tweets (illegal aliens) and the usage of different language (deleted tweets) is terrible lets admit to that. NOBODY is saying that we think the girl is right to illegallu translate the manhwa. We are just critizing her CHOICE of WORDS. Is it wrong to right someone?

If only this wasnt blown up out of the proportions. Im just saying a different perspective of a legal user (from Webtoons tho) from Spain.
