That's your opinion but I think he will actually listen. They just warn him but not give him the whole shit so I think that's one of the factors. They can provide proofs about Luoan's scams if he won't believe it because his mom knows about it too. Like I said, it won't justify his actions but the worst scenario could've been avoided specially that one where Niannian was kidnapped.
I'm already done with the novel so I know that it's not entirely Yansheng's fault. The ring was not fake but Shen Luoan stole the real one so Niannian ended up with the fake ring. I'm also a bit upset because Niannian hopes that Yansheng will know the truth but how could he when they don't fuckin' tell him a single fuck about the fuckshits of Luoan bitch. I mean they know everything but they just watch him be played like that. It's also confusing and painful on Yansheng's part. It won't justify his acts towards Niannian but they could've avoided the worst :(
