Just wanna clarify that there's a difference in genre between 'yaoi' and 'shounen ai'; the thing you're looking for is probably shounen ai (the soft and fluffy type?), anywho, even if this didn't help, Happy Reading! (=・ω・=)
nah i think they just prefer yaoi/bl with actual good story writing/plot instead of smut centric ones (ofc good smut yaoi is always a bonus tho)
Recently, I had been having a hard time getting invested in yaoi (probably cuz all I read these days are just smexy time and no plot). But BEHOLD. The yaoi gods have once again restored my faith in yaoi with this one.
