final arc thoughts

i think this is a perfect way to end tokyo revengers. throughout the manga, takemichi realizes that hina is not the only person that needs saving. it was neither himself nor kisaki, but mikey who is the true key to everything. with each new future, we learn more about mikey’s bleak fate. it is arguably mikey who suffers most from takemichi’s decisions, who is at the root of everything, who prevails as the main person who needs takemichi most. it’s also hard for this type of plot to avoid getting repetitive, so i’m glad it’s not being drawn out too much... even with all this said i am so sad that tr is ending so soon. i will miss the art and characters dearly </3 mitsuya </3
