any recommendations on kind of old classic romance mangas and are complex and have a good plot. Also like a mature maybe even kinda dark :)))

I've been reading a few of these since I was a teenager, so even if it's ongoing, I'd consider these classics. I don't know about dark, but here's some if my faves with good plot:

Akatsuki no yona
Keishichou Tokuhanka 007
Reimei no Arcana
Skip Beat
Hana to akuma
NG life
Mahou Tsukai no Yome
Merupuri
1/2 Prince

Oh I forgot these:
Gakuen Alice
Vampire Knight (frustrating, but eh)
Orange (Takano Ichigo) - (this is more like a slice of life but it's still.amazing)
Love so Life (another slice of life, but it's it's cute and fluffy)
