I read the novel, mind you it is 550 chapters and I'm currently in chapter 300+. The story is good, I love the plot and the mc's perseverance. It's actually good and you'll understand why the s1 looks different in s2. Mainly the reason is, neutral zone is very different in paradise.
Another spoiler: I read the ending and it's a happy ending with Seol Jihu having a harem
