I really wish they didnt translate when one character calls the other by its jobs name bc it really takes out the fun Icant take them seriously when they go "oooh chef head section" "aaah assistant manager"

    I can understand that it comes across a bit corny, but I kind of like it cause it feels realistic/authentic to Korea - where I lived for a while. Cause there are also subtle naunces of respect etc. when they use titles. I get endlessly annoyed when I watch Korean dramas and I can hear them using titles with each other and the subtitles are simply their names, cause like it doesn't match! *wail*

    Yes, this is why I wish they didnt translate and just kept the korean word. Its like when sometine hyung is translated into bro... It just make no sense to translate it bc what may seen authentic in a language is just cringey in another lol and I said that as a non native English speaker

    I completely agree. Shoddy translations break the flow and at times just sounds ridiculous.
