Before seeing your reply, I wasn't aware that chapter 62 was out yet (I read chapter 61 in English this morning and it had a note about chapter 62 being the last). I just checked and lo and behold, chapter 62 is out and my babies are happy!!

I honestly thought it was fine. Because in chapter 60 and 61 it was explained that these beings are their other halves basically (not in a romantic way lol). So I thought that panel exists to say "hey although the mirrors are broken, these beings still exist" and I'm personally fine with that. That will cause more issues for other people but I doubt the MC and ML are in any danger
