I imagine expensive. Japan is an island so not much space and not native to there.

The rabbit itself is probably mid-priced but you have to remember all the crap you have to get for it too like a cage, bedding, food, water bottle/food and water bowls, etc. It would cost over $150 dollars for everything in US and they are probably more expensive in Japan because they are probably imported.
Just how much is a rabbit in Japan. Did it become a endangered specie while I wasn't aware or why is the kid so desperate?
