Tell them you dont feel comfortable with them saying it to others for you like that. If they keep doing it you have to tell them youre not sure if you can keep hanging out with them. Even if its a bluff maybe it'll have them realize it really does upset you
Assuming your cousin is just ignorant and doesn’t have malicious intent, you can gently let them know that you’d prefer if they stopped.
If they’re doing it to get a rise out of you or to be mean, I find that the best way to deal with that is to either be very up front and tell them that you don’t like what they’re doing and you’ll begin to distance yourself from them if they continue, and/or to own it in the moment when you’re super uncomfortable, as this takes away power that people who enjoy bullying and harassment feel.
guys.. my cousin keeps telling everyone we ever hang out with I’m gay.. Idk what to do, it makes me really uncomfortable and scared tbh :,)
