Akane and Arima aren't even main characters (￣∇￣") the genre's are similar but the story is really different. hmm.. maybe you meant "isn't it just like act age" in another way??
I think it reminded me of act age when arima and akane were going up against each other. It reminded me of act age <journey to the west arc> when both yonagi and chiyoko was also going up against each other. The inferiority that both yonagi/akane felt when they saw chiyoko/arima doing well was so similar, there was almost no difference. I deadass thought that the author for oshi no ko was act age author.
