Every trope involving a dominant seme who bullies or abuses the uke, be Yaoi rape trope or Shounei Ai bully trope is translated to Stockholm and Lima Syndrome.
That's why these stories are never meant to be analyzed as real life relationships.
I know everyone only knows Stockholm syndrome but these tropes don't work without the other way around: Lima Syndrome that it's when the kidnappers, controllers develop sympathy or feelings for their victims.
By the end of the day, every story you ever read that has a dominant partner starting abusing the other character, it doesn't need to be rape, it can be any form of control, abuse or power dominance and the two develop a relationship can be cataloged as Stockholm x Lima syndromes but since these are not real and not to be taken seriously, I wish people stopped trying to interpret these as real life relationships or at least were fair and coherent that the trope is overused in plenty of BL stories depicting a relationship that starts with one of the partners beating/bullying/abusing someone who they eventually fall in love with and that eventually fall in love with them back when they change behavior.
It's an unrealistic trope, nothing more, nothing less.
Yeah as you said but I wish that one day a BL with fantasy genre or plot like my favorite OP solo leveling but BL version ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ that’d be so bad ass and no more defenseless ukes, I’m just tired of seeing ukes hurt or semes being a complete ass, that trope I don’t like but I still read it cause it’s interesting lmao.
