Yes she did... But I think this is inside of Claude's subconsciousness
Athy is inside of Claude's "mana stream" and it was via instability of Athy's mana absorbing Diana's lifeforce that killed her after giving birth. Diana mentions to Athy that she was suppose to be "reborn" after dying but has yet to completely "pass over" because she was worried about "his majesty" (she never calls Claude by his first name) and Athy that a part of her decided to remain somehow in the "lifestream". She more or less in now ethereal being attached to Claude's subconscious.
Out of all the characters in WMMAP, she is my fav and I think had the most tragic backstory.
She says also in the chapter the reason she couldn't completely "move on" because she was worried about her daughter and Claude. But now seeing how brave and strong Athy is, she can now finally "move on" and let go of her lingering around.
Even with a poor translation via MTL its still a tear jerker of a chapter.
