Omg right?! Seriously why? WHY even do that? It is so triggering as someone with major trauma and trust issues. I could never forgive my s/o for befriending the SOURCE of my FUCKING PAIN!!! I would never, never, never forgive that. It goes so far past being unnecessary to the story and actually makes me wish I never read it. Because now I'm upset. It could've been such a good story too. I'm saaaaad :(

That aside, Kei is such a sweetheart, a respectful seme, treating Nanase so well. I do have one irk point with him tho. We all know Nanase has issues with betrayal due to his ex Minato, so Kei becoming secret friends with the ex now, I felt that was so unnecessary on his part and it can cause serious problems with him and Nanase in the future, as it IS a matter of trust and betrayal.
