i don't think the author would keep mentioning a dead person if they didn't hold a significant amount of importance. something tells me that the dead king/ex crush I don't remember his name, will come up later in the story. maybe the current duke is a reincarnation of him??? didn't the fl say that he reminded her of the dead guy?
