I know!! I was confused for a while but he keeps saying how he knows she is just trying to have a happy ending with her family & he was planning on staying away from her so she could accomplish it but he was still very drawn to her. I think they were close in the past too bc of that one scene where she asks for a piano & he said he’ll make sure to get her a black one like she wanted & he did in this current life
this might just be me, but i have no emotional attachment to the white haired ml. i would be more invested if she was with literally anyone else (besides family ofc). i just feel like he just popped in out of nowhere. but like i said, probably just me.
