Um.... That is a bit stereotyping you know, I went to stay at a Burmese family's house and I was mostly surrounded by people who regarded kissing as a western custom. Well kissing has changed among the youth of Myanmar but it was a no - no before. It was treated as unclean, and defiling one's dignity and when I think of all the 10 million bacteria migrating across our gums it might be disturbing to cultures where it's taboo to randomly touch people of the opposite sex without their permission even as a western sign of friendship. It's honoring dignity over carnal thoughts and protecting one's right to their sacred bodies....... Oh well it's all up to the individual. You can read more about it here

I really do wonder if there are countries where they don't know what a kiss is
