I don't think he's necessarily hung up over his ex. From his story it sounds like the misogyny that he developed over the years clashed with her values and activism (I'm using this word lightly but she was advocating for women on social media and getting flamed for it), even after Beckhee called him out and bruised his ego he reasoned that because she has another guy now and "all women are like that." I actually like the other male lead a lot even tho his dick is public use, you can see he's very good at making people feel better (Beckhee) or get back on track (the female coworker) even though he just wants to seduce her. My theory is that he was there for Hyeya when she was going through a rough time and she relied on him, it still doesn't excuse his infidelity and I hope she ends up with neither of them.
