The author did explain season 1 is Dian MC (present). Season 2 is Margrave MC (past). And Season 3 will be both MCs (future)

For fucks sake the burn is so slow hell has actually frozen over. Not to mention the author throws in these random ass chapters and away we go from the main storyline and it confuses the fuck out of me. The art is gorgeous and for the most part the storyline is good. But FUCK this SLOW BURN IS KILLING MEEEE.
