So weird

I really wonder what the author is thinking while writing this. Choa and Mujin keep saying sappy romance lines like "he's my light" and "I can do anything for him" and I get the feeling that maybe I'm supposed to be impressed and admire their love, but instead I just feel like rolling my eyes since Choa doesn't actually feel that way (because he lost his memories) and Mujin seems to have no problems letting Choa get raped a bunch, which just invalidates all the cutesy sparkly stuff they think about each other for me. On the other hand, this has a horror tag and a psychological tag, so maybe it's supposed to be darkly ironic, but if that's the case, the author really needs to work on the tone of the story when those lines crop up, because they always feel entirely sincere.

I totally see what you mean, but I don’t think it’s supposed to be romantic. I feel like it’s just a highlight of the semes obsession. To him the uke is his literal light in the darkness. All he sees is him, and when he’s not there, he’s left in the dark. You don’t love the light, you covet it. That’s what I am assuming anyway, I could be wrong.
