Yes, her family treated her like shit but its because the soul in the mc's body before was a toxic bratty bitch who tortured her younger sister to death. if the original plotline didn't change, and she dies in the jail cell, she deserved it because of all her bad deeds. Her sister didn't do anything wrong and now, the mc is given another chance to fix her life.

Do you think she was born shitty? Did her family ever protect her from the shit people said about her just cause she wasn’t as beautiful as her sister or the rest of her family? Hatred built up to the point of her taking it out on the wrong person, which could’ve have been avoided with even the smallest bit of love, she’s not a bratty kid by choice okay she was in dire need of love and without that and emotional support she turned out the way she did....it’s called mental abuse and that’s what happened here
