I feel exactly same way. I just don't get the training stuffs. and I love the older brother's story. :3
yeah, I feel they could have gotten away with the weirdness in Shiba and Kousukes relationship if they had left out the "training" comments.
Like you could have written it off as "He loves him, His love is just Toxic." But... the idea that it's calculated to get like an obedient toy just.... makes it impossible to redeem. It's not even sad it's just icky.
