I think ougi raped hayato to show that ougi is the "dominant" alpha. Like he expalined before alphas have to fight each other in order to gain respect. So i guess in this case, ougi is the dominant alpha in class (seeing him setting the rules and all) im not saying it was okay to rape hayato, but i think this was the only way for ougi to feel dominance against hayato and make him go through pain and humiliation

The charactors here really have no morals. Raping someone just to show his dominance over that person....haiz, i am speechless....this is just my own thoughts, no offend to anyone who loves such stories...

Yeah, it's pretty messed up tbh. But i also think their morals are a bit shifted comapred to ours. But yeah it's pretty sad. Cuz technically fromch 1, we knew that hayato really like yuu, but due to the physical urges he could resist omega. I dont think he even wanted to rape kanae. He was saying that he doesnt want omega's pheromones decide his destiny and yet there he was raping kanae. It's pretty interesting to analyze.

Because in this omegaverse, it's humiliating for an alpha to be treated like an Omega, i.e. becoming an uke in sex, taking surpressant drug, etc. So to 'control' Hayato who gave up to his lust, the leader of the pack (Ougi) needs to teach him a humiliating lesson. Moreover, Hayato already has a Beta bf. That enraged Ougi.

In the animal kingdom, this happens often between alpha asserting his dominance. It isn't for pleasure.

So in the omegaverse, it is all right for beta to be uke? I don't understand why Hayato having a beta as a boyfriend would enrage Ougi? Actually, what is beta's role and position in this omegaverse world? Since there are only a few omega around, isn't it all right for the alphas to divert their attention to the beta for love and/or sexual release? I understand that Ougi is enraged with hayato because he raped kanae, but why would Ougi be enraged with hayato for dating a beta??? I am soooo confused with this omegaverse world.....

ah it's not like that... Ougi was more mad because Hayato and Yuu (the beta) declared that their love should overcome the "fate" or Alpha mating with Omega yet he loses himself to his animal side (his instinct) and tried to rape Kanae, where Ougi has decided he would be the mate for Kanae. ofc alpha and beta could be the bottom too, it was just kind of set that only omega would get pregnant in this AU...

In simple words, Ougi was angry to Hayato because even though Hayato already has a Beta boyfriend, he still rapes an Omega.
Beta is basically like a regular human. Nothing special about Beta. Male Beta could not get pregnant. On the other hand, male Omega can be impregnated by any sperm, be it from Alpha or Beta.

So it is like this:
Alpha Male: extra balls, lusting over Omega and highly influenced by Omega's pheromones. Can not get pregnant.
Alpha Female : has a hidden penis, can be pregnant but also can impregnant others if she wants to.

Beta male and female: regular human. Not affected by Omega's pheromones.

Omega Male: can be pregnant and bear a child. Has penis (not sure if he can impregnant other person, because as far as I know he has no balls, cmiiw)
Omega female: no penis.

Both Omega genders has a period where they exude pheromones attracting Alpha only.
Omega must be bitten on the neck to be 'owned' by an Alpha. They can get pregnant even though not yet owned by an Alpha (e.g. raped by an Alpha).
But once an Omega was owned by an Alpha, they will reject other Alphas.

Wow, thanks for the clarification. I think female alpha is cool!!! There is not much difference between female beta and female omega as both can get pregnant, except that female omega exude pheromones to attract alpha....

I think the whole bitting on the neck issue is quite silly...so what if an omega got 'marked' or 'owned' by an alpha, and rejects all other alphas? It doesn't change the fact that the omega can still be 'raped' by other alphas and get pregnant with other alpha's sperm...Being 'marked' or 'owned' by an alpha doesn't automatically deter other alphas from approaching/raping the omega.

okay so I might be wrong about that and kinda spoil this manga so I'll put a warning when I'll get to that part. If I remember correctly, the whole biting stuff is not only about owning the omega but also releasing his pheromon and allowing him to get pregnant. An omega who wasn't bitten can not get pregnant I think (the bite start some weird chemical reaction. )

so here comes the spoil:
The reason why Kanae got pregnant as a child is because Ouji actually did bite him when they both didn't know what would happen. If I remember correctly, when Kanae got home, his pheromons got out of hands and then he was raped by his alpha brother I think (or his cousin ? Well someone who was close to him ) The whole story is just pretty sad because so many people got hurt because of accidents and bad choices ;w;

also you're right about this doesn't changing the fact that an omega can still get raped by an other person who isn't his mate but if I remember correctly again (but this is something I read in another story which is from the same adaptation oft he whole omegaverse stuff) the body of the omega tends to violently reject someone who isn't the other mate (ex: vomiting, hitting, etc). Though it doesn't seems to really be the case here. In other interpretation of the omegaverse tthat has nothing to do with those mangas, marking and owning an omega kinda help to claim that this omega has the protection of an other strong alpha and is already the propriety of someone else (also his heat are weaker and more regular). So of course, it doesn't stop all people to "steal" or rape just like in reality, but it does stop it largely (it's at your own risk)

So in other words, kid ougi bite kid kanae to trigger some sort of chemical reaction which causes the egg in kanae to be fertile. After which, kid kanae got raped by his alpha brother/cousin who fertilized the egg with his sperm and causes the pregnancy.

That's why sex education is important here =D

So does it mean that any alpha can bite an omega to make their egg fertile for pregnancy? Or, is it only the alpha chosen by the omega who can make the omega's egg fertile when bitten? If any alpha can do the job, i really don't see any point in ougi trying to "mark" and "own" kanae. Because, even if ougi managed to "mark" kanae now, another alpha can just override the "mark" and "own" kanae later on.....It's not like the 1st alpha to 'mark' an omega wins the ownership of that omega forever....

just like chic said, you can't override a mark, you can only be bitten once. So yeah, the 1st alpha to beat an omega win the ownership of that omega forever, it's exactly what it's about.
Also like I said in one of my previous reply, normally, the body tend to react violently to someone who isn't the mate that bite the omega.

Also yeah, the omega does'nt have a say in who bites him, that's the sad part. You can romantize it but likely any alpha, especially a psycho, can force an omega to be his mate and bite him to make him pregnant (as long as he hasn't been biten before)
