I realized sth...

When I started to read this webtoon I really thought it was a well written nuanced grounded story.

But then I noticed the tropes and that this story has becomes more of a typical soapy K-Drama:

The tortured almost perfect ML who is a target by anyone due to his talent and social status.
The grandfather who is the actual cause of this whole drama is still blameless.
The sexist uncle who can't defy or blame his own father but can only take it out on his nephew/ML.
A evil jealous dumb bitch in love with the ML and her childhoodfriend becomes Rose's 2nd annoying ML type and he turns out to be the bastard son the pathetic uncle.
At least four men are interested in Rose the FL and kinda fighting over her as manchildren.
The ex-secretary/assistant who betrayed the ML for some reasons still has to harm him...
The antagonist/Ex who is stupidly obsessed with Rose and is dumb enough to keep a derranged psycho with plot armor as a hitman on his side.
And Rose as the FL is put in danger because of her association with her younger ML.

So The whole plot is basically a melo K-Drama about wealth, conservative values, elitist dysfunctional family power struggle, how pitiful the handsome desirable priveledged ML is and how much the FL has to struggle & suffer.

The only character I care and relate is obviously Rose.
