I agree. When I read the novel, their romance felt weirdly off. Yes they are cute together but there wasn't really any spark for jin-woo especially. Chae-in definitely seems interested in jin-woo as a man but I can't say the same for jin woo
Wasn't he tho who went after her when they went back in time?? If you have read the novel then you know that they have more moments that the manhwa. Jinwoo is not the affectionate type and he was really busy with the mess around him but still she popped up in his mind and he even put one of his shadow to look over her. The only people that have shadows protecting them are the ones he care about. And why is so hard to accept romance in action manhwa is not that the romance is the main point. Is there just for the ending of the story and giving our mc a happy family ending (as that is what he wants)

Like they are into it simply for the benefits, not for the emotion. Liek they are both strong S hunters. This feels like in novels when people from strong clans send their youngest to get together so they have strong connections.
I feel 0% emotional connection from both of them. The MC shows 0% feelings towards anyone who isn't his family, the girl is just crushing on him because he is strong, saved her and doesn't smell.
I don't hate her. She's actually cool. I just hate how they decided to integrate romance into this heavly action centered manhwa.
This is exactly the reason I don't want/like romance in action gener. Especially when it's forced like this.
Homeboy forgot this girl existed for more then half the season and now they pull out this chapter out of their asses. Like at least TRY to make it work if you want to shove it down our troats so much.
Are you really telling me, he wanted to bring HER to the asument park on possibly his last day on Earth instead of idk, HIS FAMILY? His mother he didn't get to talk to for so long. His sister that experinced traumatic event. His guild vice-president. The guy that halped him so much. Literally anyone else who spent some actual time bonding with him. The healer girl from the start of the manhwa, she was really nice to him and knew him from before. Why not her?
While for this girl, you can literally count on your fingers the chapters in which they spend time together.
It simply feels FORCED
