In the novel, Qu Cheng clarifies that those were just rumours. It's Ch 204 in the novel. He's only friendly with Yue Yue because of Yue's brother, whom Cheng sworn to look after.

Saying that Qu Cheng cheated is PREPOSTEROUS. Utterly stupid. Nowhere in the novel was it mentioned that Yue Yue was an ex-lover or that Cheng Cheng cheated. I don't know where you got that from but you should not spread wrong information based on assumptions. The novel is long and there is a lot that is going to happen but NOT ONCE was it stated that Yue Yue and Cheng have any romantic relationship.
