They ended up embracing their hidden nature and that the black mirror was created by human's malice. The world was unfair and will never be fixed so they did everything they could to have paradise (a better life despite being in a cruel world they live in) by killing people who pose as a great and mighty person when in fact they're not (cause those people are the cause of other people's misery so it's like two bird hitting with one stone) even if it's wrong to kill. Cause that's the only way for them to live and survive in a world like that.
