It's not a sad story (HEA!), but the mood of this story is very powerful. It's captivating. I normally don't go for themes like these but this piece is one of my favories because the melancholy, introspective mood of it is inescapable.
^ It was well done and powerful that the emotions are hard to control for some of us. I cried the first time and still cry after it but bc it's such a beautiful story. I hope you read it
