I pretty recommend you to watch the live action to 'differentiate' the characters since it's impossible that all the actors look all the same right?? I watch the LA first, it actually helped me to differentiate them:) But for more understanding to the storyline ofc i recommend you to read the novel! Also the donghua is not bad either:)
was the live action good dhw cuz there really bid some times
It's not bad it's kinda cringy at times but it's a masterpiece and quite popular aswell
