i think it uses the girl who’s mom is lost and her situation with her abusive father to show how people are like the flies that are trapped by the many lights. (hence the name “light trap”) idk what she meant by “feed my mom” but i was thinking her mom was a corpse on the mountain and perhaps she left her dog behind too. maybe. but i do think that the way she just wanders off at the end is sort of like a fly just going around, objective lost, resiliently existing.
