May not be pedophilia but in many countries (even with low age of consents) they're still a minor and a kid in the eyes of society and most laws. Just because something is legal doesn't mean it's ok.

who says their a minor? nothing changes, biologically at least, at the age of 18. So who says being 18 makes someone legal?
A minor is anyone under 18, as 18 is considered an adult. 17 year olds are literally protected under child laws, even if the age of consent is 13/15/17/whatever (which is weird to me). Also, a year can make a difference experience wise, especially from childhood and throughout adolescence. Imo there's no justifying a full grown man in his 30s dating a minor.
If there's something wrong with these laws that allow a 13 year old to have sex, then there's something wrong with the laws that allow an 18 year old to have sex, too. Who's to say whether someone is "too old" or "too young"? What are you, a Scientist? Just because someone 18 and over is considered adult, doesn't mean it's right. The maturity and the general mentality of the people the age group has a say. The fact that you're going hard for this is really kind of telling. So say you're 30, you're telling me that you'd go out with a minor?
Scientists say that a person's brain stops developing at around 25 years of age. 'Developing' as in meaning a brain must be growing until at least around the age of 25. As in NOT meaning that a brain suddenly stops growing at 13 then just magically becomes fully mature as soon as an individual turns 25. So yes an eighteen year old will have more maturity and experience than a 17 year old, even if the difference is just a day and only minuscule. .
