Huh... i dont remember that but if we look at it, yu is the main character, but the mc doesn't have to be the good guy (=protagonist) like in deathnote, it could mean that hes the antagonist and bad guy of the story and prbbly the sun dude is the good guy (=protagonist)? Im not exactly sure if that is how those words are meant or defined
