I don't think so.. Yeonwu also needs some change, liek self value and respect. Ig he won't get a character development unless it's Taewan that pushes him at his limit. I am certain that Yeonwu's improvement will make Taewan change.

From my perspective, I felt that Yeonwu does not have experience with a healthy gay relationship, or for that matter an actual boyfriend, just hookups and fwbs. So if he actually could be around a positive, respectful, encouraging, and loving boyfriend then I could imagine him actually being happier than his current unhealthy unrequited love for Taewan. Idk, it's just really painful for me to read about these two because Taewan is such a homophobic closet case, he is at least bisexual. Taewan is just an unpleasant character so far like I really dislike his hateful remarks and actions towards gay people. Like I get there may be trauma somewhere in his backstory but that's really no excuse to hate an entire community of people for one (or a few) people's actions. Overall I think Taewan needs some therapy and someone to really open up to and heal, and Yeonwu just needs to move on with his life.
Yes but yk, Yeonwu could jus reject anything embarassing that Taewan wants him to do-like those things that makes him toxic. Yeonwu just keeps on following his orders despite that he knows Taewan's homophobic, and that makes Taewan think that homo ppl like and enjoys those kind of things-that pushes him to continue and do more. It's just Yeonwu stupidly falls head over heels to Taewan and is supporting Taewan's irrational mindset. It is Yeonwu who made everything a mess anyway(since the scene where Yeonwu kissed Taewan while asleep). So Taewan thinks that homo takes advantage on ppl in every moment they can. (ig same reason with his dark past). If only Yeonwu just not follow him and value himself then maybe Taewan could think that Yeonwu is different from other ppl he hate.
Taehwan is a toxic jerk, Yeonwu should just be with Alex or someone he can actually develop a healthy relationship with.
