Yep, agreed 100%. He was completely erased at the end and that's why I'll always find the closure unsatisfactory.

happy to see an afterword and bonus story! i feel as if the ending lacked a proper buildup to the conclusion (ex. after watching touma struggle with his feelings for taichi the entire manga they are suddenly married. the satisfaction of watching taichi and touma grow as people and end up together is gone, which really took away from the ending imo). i still like blue flag and the characters are great, but i wish we at least got to see a glimpse of touma at the end after all he went through...
