In rare cases the bump doesn’t show much. I’ve seen abs read about many real life stories of it happening.
I also remember a case, where a really fit lady barely showed a baby bump even as the gestation period was coming to an end. However to have such an important plot point (most people, but especially the prince, not realising he's pregnant) be dependent on something so unlikely, it's odd.
When I was pregnant with all three of my kids, my dump didn't show until I was like 6-7 months pregnant. My first pregnancy job didn't believe me for the longest time that I was pregnant. My second pregnancy was the same. My third pregnancy I was doing a bikini bodybuilding competition. So losing your period happens during prep. So after my second competition I was feeling bloated, went to the doctor and was told I was 7 months pregnant.

It's been what I think months... where the bump. Maybe it can be masked with layered clothing, but he's frequently naked in front of the prince, it should be visible then
