It's gonna take her a bit to get use to actually receiving affection for her efforts. She somehow loved the prince who was basically her previous life love and whome in this life was set in stone to be with the FL and not her. She constantly got herself hurt saving the prince and justifying it being ok to have herself deal with it alone. She learned healing magic to help herself out but mentions it doesn't mean she doesn't feel the pain every time. Maybe it's just me who feels that way.
